Jean Munck is 22-year-old fourth year design student at Aalto University, Finland. His work as an industrial designer has been highly user centric and focused on better environmental solutions. As a child he was brought up surrounded by traditional craftsmanship, from both sides of his family. Traditional Finnish craftmanship has always been there for him and a part of his life, he received his first Finnish puukko knife at the age of 5. It is still with him to this day, remaining as one of his most important tools.
Jean values group work almost over everything else when it comes to the design process, photography or filmmaking. For him it is imperative that the group has the ability to engage in creative debate and enjoys this process greatly.
